Roofline Installers

Swish is a nationally recognised brand name that gives Swish Approved Installers an excellent opportunity to promote and expand their business.

The Swish name is known and trusted by consumers as a symbol of quality. It is backed by products and sales tools that give our Approved Installers a strong advantage in the market place.

It is a requirement that all Swish Approved Installers complete their fittings to a high quality standard, which allows them to take sufficient time to complete the job without added pressure or stress to work too quickly which could result in cutting corners and a lower standard finish.

Training & Qualifications

Qualifications and Training

To apply for training or to get further information please call 01942 233669 or email nwtraining@hotmail.co.uk

Swish offers their Approved Installers the opportunity to gain recognised qualifications in Roofline installation. Swish partners with a training and qualifications provider who can now offer Approved Installers a number of routes to an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification. They specialise in putting together training packages that suit busy installers who don't want to spend a lot of time away from the job.

Training helps to raise standards, while qualifications help to demonstrate your competence to your customers. With a recognised qualification there are opportunities to:

  • Improve your sales value and margin

  • Standardise installation processes

  • Improve your company's reputation

  • Undertake local government work

  • Undertake Green Deal related work

There are three routes to obtaining a roofline installation qualification. Two are funding routes to a full NVQ Level 2 qualification and the third is an OSCAR, a day's assessment that is based on the NVQ Level 2 system. Both qualifications are recognised as proof of competence by an increasing number of bodies such as TrustMark.

It is possible to recoup much of the cost of the NVQ training programmes through the CITB Levy scheme, and the OSCAR represents a low cost and value for money certification process.
