Swish demonstrates committment to Health & Safety

Swish has achieved BS OHSAS 18001 Certification demonstrating the company's committment to providing a safe and healthy environment for its its employees and visitors to the site.
Managing director Ken Simpson thanked the
staff involved in the certification process for their efforts. "This award shows that Swish is serious about maintaining and improving standards for its employees. This has been a culmination of months of hard work and all on site have worked tirelessly in meeting the strict requirements of the standard. The team at Swish are proud of what they have achieved and the change in culture has been key to making this happen; there is now ownership of safety at all levels within the business. It also demonstrates to our customers that we are willing to invest in all aspects of our business to raise the standard of product and service that they receive."
During the closing meeting the BSI auditor said, "I am impressed by the efforts at all levels within Swish, senior management have shown their commitment to health and safety; the overall commitment to 18001 and world class manufacturing should be congratulated, well done."
The company now adds this OHSAS 18001 achievement to its ISO 14001certification for Environmental Management and its ISO 9001 certification for Quality.
