Swish Approved Installers are no different, but it is important that you understand clearly what is being guaranteed and who is providing the backing to that guarantee.

When the installer offers you his 10 Year Guarantee it covers you for:

the quality of the installation work

the quality of the materials used.

This is the same as any other contract that you might enter into for the purchase of goods or services. Swish provides a guarantee for its materials that backs up the materials part of the Installer's guarantee.

Make sure that your installer provides you with this guarantee in a written form. In the case of Swish white cellular PVC boards this guarantee is for 15Years. If you think there is a claim to be made during the extra 5 year period you should still approach your Installer in the first instance.
