in Concealed Fix and Face Fix formats, for the Jumbo, Cappair and
Cappit ranges of boards.
Extruded profiles are available for joining
soffit sections, supporting soffits at the wall and sealing the top
of fascia boards in felt roof conditions.

 Standard
joint and corner heights are 300mm and 500mm.

Characteristics
 500mm
joints and corners are double ended to allow economy of use with
boards below 250mm in height.
 500mm
units are scribed on the back-face at 150, 175, 200, 225 and 250mm
to aid cutting to board depth.

internal and external corners have one square and one ogee end
detail.
 Concealed
fix units may be secured by pins.

Important Design and Installation notes:
 Always
specify replacement fascia joints to be between rafter positions.

 Over
capping fascia joint positions are not as critical an may be made
where conditions allow.(Fig11)
 Always
specify the correct expansion gap for joints and corners
ie 4mm at each plank end. (Fig2 & 3)

Installation Sequence
Replacement Board Installation
 First
fit any concealed-fix corner trims.
 Fascia
joints should be made between rafter positions.
 Butt
joint Jumbo lengths using matching joint mouldings, nailed through
the preformed holes to one plank end.
 The
next Jumbo board is then offered up and engaged into the trim by
simple push fit.
 Fix
internal/external corner covers, using Swish low modulus silicone
(C077).
 Soffit
Joint Strip (C041/051) should be cut to length and fixed
between rafter feet using Swish Low Modulus Silicone.
Capping Board Installation
 Fix
internal/external corner covers, using Swish low modulus silicone
(C077).
