Range Notes
Over Fascia Ventilators available in 10mm (C504) or 25mm (C505) continuous air path versions.
Vented Eaves Protector (C404) provides 10mm continuous air path ventilation and eaves protection. A Bird Comb (C405) attaches to C404 and provides a barrier to large insects and birds underneath the eaves tiles.
 Jumbotec provides eaves protection only.

Range Information:

Characteristics
Rigid components in extruded or moulded format.
All over fascia components are fixed to the top of the fascia board and are capable of bearing the weight of the eaves course of tiles.

Important Design and Installation notes:

Over Fascia
Where Over fascia Ventilator (C504/505) and Vented Eaves Protector (C404) are specified the fascia height must be reduced.
          C404 - reduce fascia height by 25mm
          C504 - reduce fascia height by 22mm
          C505 - reduce fascia height by 51mm
Installation of an eaves protection unit will significantly increase the life expectancy of the installation. The rear flange of the unit must dress under the existing felt edge. (Fig1)
Where a capping fascia is employed ensure that any ventilation or protection units are fixed into the top of the backing board only.
Where eaves protection is not to be fitted the roof felt must be in good condition and dressed over the fascia down into the gutter (Fig7). In the case of severe deterioration, the roofing felt may require complete replacement.

Through Soffit
Ventilation may be provided via:
Pre-vented boards ie Polo flat boards (Fig6) or cladding (Fig16). See Soffits Installation Guide.
A combination of flat board (or cladding) and ventilation strips (Figs19/21).
A circular ventilator is available where it is necessary to provide ventilation through an existing flat board soffit.
