Each year Swish undertakes regular staff training to ensure that all staff are properly skilled and safe in their working environment, and now employs an on-site trainer specifically to undertake such training. As part of our BES6001 certification we also publish the previous year's training results and indicate the level of training to be undertaken in the coming year.

The Manufacturing Performance Team” (MPT), and the “Distribution Performance Team” (DPT) consist of a Senior Management steering group which gives focus and direction to a cascading structure of inter-departmental teams.
The teams are directed to make improvements which contribute to top-line kpi’s, such as Customer Service, Quality, Health and Safety.

We have also employed a specific job role of “Trainer” in 2017.
This has allowed us to move from specific training courses to observational training for FLT operations, QC and manual handling. The training is therefore more task and area specific, more frequent, and less disruptive to work processes.
